RJ Crowley Productions, based in Hartland, produces this fun-filled, full-scale event in the form of a murder mystery. RJ promises that characters, comedy, and corpses will abound for the second year at the Glory Days Festival. From last year’s reports and the number of likes on Facebook and tickets already reserved for the event this year, this is a not-to-be-missed night of entertainment, fun, and, of course, mystery!
The mystery begins on the platform of the station while guests enjoy food and drinks. Once the guests board the train, the mystery deepens as the body count rises. The killer is revealed when the train arrives back in White River Junction. Along the way, there will be great views, good food, a cash bar, and a few surprises.
Tickets are limited at $65 and can be reserved online at www.hartfordvtchamber.com.
The 24th Annual Glory Days Festival is a two-day celebration of the railroad in downtown White River Junction on Saturday, September 10, from 10am to 4pm and on Sunday, September 11, from 10am to 2pm. This event is produced by the Hartford Parks and Recreation Department and admission is free.
During the weekend, train excursions will depart from the train station. The Saturday excursions are 45-minute rides along the scenic Connecticut River. Admission is $10/person for all ages. Saturday excursions run on the hour beginning at 10:30am. Sunday excursions are 90-minute rides departing at 10am and 2pm. Admission is $15/person. Children 2 and younger ride free on both days.
