A Christmas Carol

Northern Stage presents A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens, adapted by Michael Wilson, and directed by Peter Hackett. Performances run November 16 – December 24. For specific performance dates and times, please visit Charles Dickens’ story of redemption remains as powerful and uplifting as ever. In an updated production expanded for the new Byrne Theater, this biennial tradition will bring friends and families together with beautiful music, whirling ghosts, and a tour-de-force performance by Bill Kux (2016’s The Hound of the Baskervilles) as Scrooge. Also featuring Northern Stage favorites Dorothy Stanley, Eric Bunge, Susan Haefner, and a cast of 10 local children. This is a holiday tradition not to be missed! Running time: Approximately 1 hour 45 minutes with one 15 minute intermission. Advisory: Ages 8 and up. Please note: This production contains fog and haze effects.
