Vermont's premier outdoor painting event, Wet Paint Live, comes to Springfield on Saturday, October 10, 2015. Wet Paint Live will bring artists from across New England together for a day of painting "in plein air" in this industrial center on the rolling Black River, offering artists unique impressions of Vermont's modern heritage as well as engagement with the revitalization of this historic area. We hope you will join us for the fun and camaraderie! As an artist, Wet Paint Live Vermont offers you a choice of picturesque sites around Springfield, and the day to paint at that site. After you are finished, join your fellow artists for a public reception in the Great Hall Gallery that afternoon. You will be able to show and sell your work, as well as enter it for a judging and awards ceremony held by renowned pastel artist Robert Carsten. And winning work will receive a cash prize!
