Grantham Indoor Closing After 19 Years

Jan 18, 2018 07:48PM ● By Linda Ditch
After 19 years of operation, Grantham Indoor will close on January 30. Owner Robert MacNeil is ready to retire, so after a long search for a buyer who would continue the place as a sports facility, he has instead sold it to a company that will turn it into a warehouse.

Robert posted a letter on the facility’s website. He writes, “It is with bittersweet feelings that we announce the closing of Grantham Indoor, Inc. effective January 30, 2018. Our mission from day one has been to provide a place for people to recreate, improve their skills, and develop friendships. We hope we have accomplished that goal.”

This indoor sports facility provides athletic opportunities to people of all ages and abilities. Its two primary areas are a state of the art Golf Center and a multifunctional indoor athletic field. It was the place to go for practice when the weather turned nasty and to keep your game strong all winter. Grantham Indoor also hosted many, many birthday parties, school practices, fantasy drafts, and more.

If you have gift certificates or credits for field time, you will need to use them before January 30. Also, everything is for sale! If you or an organization you know of needs turf, netting, golf simulator systems, vending machines, sports equipment, restaurant equipment, and more, go to the website at Granthamindoor.com for more information.

Thank you Granthm Indoor for all your years of fun!
