Mar 23, 2020 12:37PM ● By Virginia Dean
A full spectrum of American Red Cross courses for individuals and organizations who need group training will be offered at the Upper Valley Aquatic Cente in the near future.

Courses include CPR/AED/FIRST AID, Lifeguard Certification, Re-certification adult and pediatric, Remote Wilderness First Aid, Basic Life Support, and Babysitting Certification. There is also seasonal training for safety needs.

The resident Red Cross Director is available to attend a camp, school, business or center to certify staff. A minimum of four participants are required to run any listed program. Notification of a class cancellation will be given no less than 24 hours in advance of a class with insufficient numbers.

Registration is required one week in advance of the class date for all blended learning classes. Ways to register include by phone (802-296-2850 x.0); in person at the Welcome Desk (bring the registration form to the UVAC Welcome Desk or mail it with payment to secure a spot); or by mail in care of Upper Valley Aquatic Center (attention: Nate McCann), PO Box 1198, White River Junction 05001. More information is available at 802-296-2850 x.109.

As of March 18, classes are suspended due to the COVID-19 but will be back up and running at a later date to be determined.
