YALSA award-winning author Jo Knowles teams up with Ignatz award-nominated cartoonist Glynnis Fawkes to share their strategies for crafting authentic, relatable teen characters and narratives. This five-day workshop utilizes lectures and exercises to successfully examine the idiosyncrasies of writing for young adults. Workshops run from 11 am-5 pm ET with the exception on Cartoon Studio which runs 12 pm-6 pm. While it might be possible for work while attending some workshops, it’s not generally recommended since many workshops include studio projects to be worked on outside of the workshop hours.
