Each year a local philanthropic committee comes together to organize and host the Mud Ball which benefits the Haven. Mud Ball 2014 raised $40,000 for the Haven children’s summer programs. Thanks to these dollars many children staying at the Haven, or children associated with the shelter, were able to take advantage of the many wonderful summer options offered around the Upper Valley. Children thrived in experiences that included art, nature and adventure day camps, gardening, field trips to the ocean, mountain climbing, and strength training programs.
