King Arthur Flour’s Bake for Good initiative is designed to raise awareness of hunger as well as funding to combat hunger while allowing staff of King Arthur Flour to interact with communities across the United States to share the joy of baking. Since the Bake Truck went on the road in July 2014, it has made over 50 stops in 15 states and has raised over $10,000 in donations. On Sunday, August 16, Vermont Institute of Natural Science (VINS) will host the Bake Truck from 1 to 4pm. A delicious chocolate chip oatmeal cookie will be included with every admission fee to the VINS Nature Center.
