Northern Stage presents: Mad Love

A World Premiere Comedy by Marisa Smith

A look at romance in the age of hookups and cell phones, Mad Love follows Sloane Hudson, a rich, beautiful, recent Ivy League graduate who doesn’t believe in love or marriage but does want a baby and soon. The problem is she needs a sperm donor who passes muster. Enter Brandon, who’s got the right stats but the wrong attitude. Brandon has enough on his plate already and lives with brother Doug, who just fell in love with Katerina, the hooker from the Ukraine. Cabbage soup, a rare baseball card, and a lizard named Pogo all play a part in this romantic comedy for cynical times. This is a world premiere new play by award-winning playwright Marisa Smith, whose recent production of Saving Kitty at Central Square Theater in Cambridge, MA enjoyed a sold-out run in the summer of 2015. Tuesday - Saturday evenings at 7:30 PM Sunday evenings at 5 PM Thursday matinees at 2 PM Saturday February 13th matinee 2 PM Tickets range $15-$55
